WAV Festival, the bold new cultural experience presented by Afro Nation, unveils the final phase of its line-up for the festival’s highly anticipated debut in Cape Town on 2 January 2026. Building on strong momentum from its earlier announcements, WAV now confirms the last additions to its inaugural roster, completing a programme that champions the future of R&B, soul and diasporic sound.

Leading this final reveal is special guest Wale, the Grammy-nominated artist celebrated for his seamless blend of hip-hop, soul and poetic lyricism. Known for his reflective storytelling and genre-spanning catalogue, Wale brings a distinctive creative voice to the WAV stage.

Also joining the final wave is rising R&B talent Isaiah Falls, whose rich vocals and dynamic presence have marked him as one of the most compelling emerging artists in contemporary soul. His addition further deepens WAV’s commitment to spotlighting global voices shaping the next era of emotionally resonant music.

These final confirmations complete a line-up that already includes beloved and boundary-pushing artists such as Mariah the Scientist, Special Guest Kelvin Momo, Sasha Keable, Shekhinah, Langa Mavuso, Manana, Nanette, Kujenga, Lia Butler, Xowiè, and Strictly Soul Hour featuring Akio and Yandani, each representing a unique facet of WAV’s culturally rooted and future-facing vision.
