Bassline Live is thrilled to kick off the musical journey of 2024 on Saturday, March 2nd. This Intimate & Magical Night with AMI FAKU, is a first of this magnitude, for Gauteng fans! AMI FAKU will be performing with a full live band in an exclusively intimate way, with the stunning Lyric Theatre’s opulent décor, incredible stage, lighting & sound as the backdrop. “March 2nd is most definitely a date night – a night to spoil yourself, your bae, a friend or two and to dress to the nines, head off into the evening, ready to experience Ami Faku and her support acts up close and personal,” says Paige Holmes,  Bassline Creative & Marketing Director. 

Joining her for this exclusive one-night event are two phenomenal voices, both known for possessing immense talent and rapidly rising as stars. This special night is powered by Vth Season Shows Division,  who are renowned for their impressive roster of Africa’s most prominent music talent. Vth Season are best known for transforming unknown raw music talent into celebrated household names in Africa, and  Ami Faku is a shining example of their success! The supporting acts for the evening include Nhlonipho, a versatile music producer, singer, and pianist hailing from eSwatini, alongside Kekelingo who is an exceptional singer-songwriter and accomplished drummer. Kekelingo is currently making significant strides as a solo artist, having left his mark as the drummer and “backing singer” of the Soweto-based band, The Muffinz.
