The Fak’ugesi Beats Party descends on the Tshimologong Precinct in Braamfontein on Saturday the 30th September and will deliver a dazzling 10 year anniversary celebration exploring the intersection of music, culture, design, technology and digital innovation. Along with live performances from a hotly tipped line-up, the grand finale will present the results of the richly diverse festival programme with a variety of digital art and VR exhibitions & installations, an animation and video games arcade, projection mapping, conference and the Fak’ugesi Awards.
The event promises to thrill all the senses with live performances from Muzi, K Le Maestro (UK), Coco EM (Kenya ), Morena Leraba ( Lesotho) x Leeu, supported by Yolophonik, Deniece Marz, Kaddy and Sis Madlisa. The party happens at the I CLUB within Braamfontein’s Tshimologong Precinct 39-47 Juta Street Braamfontein. Tickets are R350.00 on Quicket.

The Fak’ugesi African Digital Innovation Festival has been supporting and celebrating the crossover of art, culture and technology since 2014, with the objective to support and celebrate creative and digital innovation cultures of Africa. It is an annual festival which strives to support growth and development in the digital creative sectors in Africa and the African creatives and entrepreneurs that work within them. On Saturday The 30th of September, from 6pm the Fak’ugesi Beats Party will steer party-goers on a riveting 8 hour voyage of beats, soul & hip hop. “Showcasing the best in alternative talent, both local and international the third instalment of this groundbreaking event will etch it’s name in the cultural textbooks as an inspiration for future generations of creators, producers and innovators to come.” Says Soma.
