A brew of good locally prepared wine, takes its position in the market

Founded late 2016 and came to operation in 2019, Ntwanano Wines has in the recent years been making waves and their mark in the beverages industry, finding a niche space to offer a distinctive and tasteful flavor in wine to its market.
Based in Randburg, Ntwanano Wines brand originates from humble beginnings with concentrated urban branding for premium wine that talks to the African market and resonates with the culture of what it stands for. A good brew of locally made wine by young and vibrant young entrepreneurs of our country.
Ntwanano – which means Unity, came as an African concept to unite the people of this beautiful continent with great values and principles over a bottle of good wine, which symbolizes the strength of we have when united over a worthy cause. The wine is appreciated by middle to high-end LSM market and attracts new entrants to the wine market, a market defined as “insubstantial” market in the wine space where there is an educational element as compared to traditional alcohol beverage.
The wine brand is co-founded and managed by three entrepreneurs, with diverse skills in marketing, sales, operations and management to take the brand to every household in the country, Africa and eventually the world. Currently, Ntwanano Wines have in their range of wines; sweet rosé, red blend, white chardonnay, sauvignon blanc, shiraz and soon to launch sparkling wine and sweet red amongst other range in production stock.

If you have any type of event, be like a wedding, year-end functions – you can book us and we come serve our wines to your guests and get an opportunity to explain to them the types of wines that can go with the types of food they are having. We also invite people to come to our wine tasting and interact with us, whether it’s our partners or it’s our clients but we make sure we cement that relationship with out people. Just to go to the people makes us cool – makes people feel comfortable to hire Ntwanano Wines bar to serve their guests and that helps us a lot in interacting with our customers and understand our story and vision behind the brand.”, said Ntwanano Wines co-founder and CEO, Ntwanano Makhubela.
Produced in Cape Town, the wine is distributed across the country to a variety of clientele that the brand has managed to establish over time and continue to grow in the country, while maintaining a stronger 2-way relationship.
Plans are well progressive in the growth of the brand, having recently launch Ntwanano GIN – a premium beverage that is enjoyed by almost many in the market, and as means to expand the business offerings, introducing new products and tap on the new markets. The business employs eight full-time persons who assists the company with the day-to-day running of the business in operations, sales, events, marketing and management, with prospects to grow these numbers to about 20 people by year 2021.
Nwanano Wines will be available in major retailers across the country in a few months to come. The brand is opening up on an online store for customers to purchase their favorite wine, also the wine brand will be available for purchase at Takealot online platform.
