The story of Valerie Gwasira

Valerie Gwasira started in the hospitality industry in 2002 as a front desk receptionist. Hardworking and ambitious she soon grew up the ranks to Front Office Manager at a property in Pretoria. It was at that property that in 2005 she became their first ever black conference & events co-ordinator.
Having met 2 amazing women in hospitality who believed in empowering other women, she was pushed, motivated and inspired to make her mark. Moving forward, she progressed into spaces that were traditionally not open to black females, from a room divisions manager to reservations manager and now GM of both Euphoria Golf and Lifestyle Estate and Leeuwenhof country lodge and garden spa.
Achievements at Euphoria Golf and Lifestyle Estate includes being the home of the Limpopo Champs annual Golf competition, a sunshine tour sanctioned event, hosting international RnB stars Chris Walker and Chante Moore, partnering with Metro Fm as one of the headline sponsors for the Eddie Zonde Tribute concert, hosting the first offsite Viacom event in Limpopo where Sho Majozi received her BET award. Euphoria also won the provincial Lilizela award for the best 4 star Nature lodge in Limpopo for 2019.
More importantly, in the last 18 months, Euphoria and Leewenhof have increased staff contingency 3 fold and now proudly employ 107 people.
No man or woman in this case works alone to build a legacy and all acknowledgement to an amazing team at Euphoria and Leeuwenhof. Nothing can be achieved without their tireless efforts.
